US Immigration Policy Dictionary
This is an attempt to translate the dizzying array of immigration debate terms tossed around by politicians, special interest groups, and the so-called intelligencia in America's bastions of higher "education" undocumented worker - in possession of none or fraudulent US documentation illegal immigrant - someone who snuck in or over-stayed their visa path to citizenship - amnesty open border advocate - anti-fence, anti-US-sovereignty, anti-US-law, anti-enviromentalist, pro-business, pro cheap-labor, pro-unlimited, unrestrained growth, pro big-agriculture sanctuary city - a city operated by and embraced by open border advocates nativist - someone born inside the United States. someone concerned about the 100 million person, 50% increase in the US population in a mere 45 years, almost entirely from immigrants and their offspring. lumped in with xenophobes by open border activists. someone furious about the U.S. so-called "free trade" policies. English as official US language advocate - nativist. bigot. anti-Hispanic. xenophobe. anti-immigrant - code for someone against all LATINO immigrants with a particular emphasis on and bias against latino illegal immigrants. environmentalist - (no, not those TOTALLY FAKE border environmentalists) someone truly concerned about the "path to citizenship" creating the "path to a billion US residents" over the next 50 to 75 years, and what that entails for the environmental health of North America. pro-growth advocate - anyone insane enough to believe that a billion US residents (or for that matter, half a billion) is a good thing.
